LOCAL NEWS-

Winter is around the corner and it looks like we could get our first place tonight into Friday morning.  Greg Gust with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks  said the storm won’t be as bad as first anticipated. “We have the prospects of a fairly stout winter storm hitting us. For us in the Crookston and Grand Forks area, and even up to Roseau and Thief River Falls, we will be kind of on the edge of where we will be getting a little bit of light rain to start here on Thursday afternoon and evening, and then changing over to snow, and we should see a couple, maybe a few inches of snow on the ground through the course of the day on Friday,” said Gust.
