LOCAL NEWS-
The Crookston National Bank will celebrate one hundred years of service to the community on September 16, 2016.  The bank started out as the Crookston Trust Company in 1916 and became Crookston National Bank in 1945.
The trust company was started by Oscar Fredrick and Gilbert Hage chartered the business and served as president and in 1945 Don Lawler became the president and chartered it under Crookston National Bank and he served until 1981 when he died in office.  Bob Sobolik and Peter Carlson, investors from Argyle, served with Sobolik as president until 1986 when Jim Ingeman (pictured on left) became president.
“We are a community bank locally based in Crookston with the focus on the area and Crookston and this is unusual as many banks have branched out, but we have stayed true to our home and feel fortunate to serve the Crookston community,” said Margee Keller (pictured on right).
Crookston National Bank staff will be honored as Grand Marshall for the Crookston Ox Cart Days Parade.  A 100  year celebration will be held at the end of the year.
