LOCAL NEWS-
Frank Fee, who is finishing up his eighth year, filed for another term for the Crookston School Board while Dave Hennings filed for City Council on Thursday and Friday morning, Bobby Baird also filed for the Council at large seat. Four people have filed for Crookston School Board and eight people have filed for Crookston City Council.
Shawn Rezac and Peter Heydt filed for school board on Monday joining Dave Davidson who filed to run again for the Crookston School Board last week.  
The Crookston School District has three openings for School Board candidacy for the November 8 election.  The seats that are open are the following - Frank Fee, Dave Davidson, and Kari Miller.

Eight people have filed so far for city council seats:
Filing in Ward 1 were Jacob Fee, Lynda Kenney and Marcia Meine.
Filing in Ward 3 was the incumbent Clayton Briggs.
Filing in Ward 5 was the incumbent Dale Stainbrook.
Filing for the Council at Large are Bobby Baird, Cindy Gjerswold and Dave Hennings
Interested people can file to run for city council through August 16 at 5:00 p.m.  You can file for $2 at Crookston City Hall.
